Organisation of the BSA

The Board of Trustees are the Directors of The British Sociological Association Ltd ("the company") and the voting members of the company.  They are the decision-making body responsible for setting and implementing the strategy of the Association (see Trustee Duties).  The Advisory Forum comprise these elected trustees, plus the President, plus a number of people who are co-opted onto the Advisory Forum to ensure that constituent members of the Association are appropriately represented.

The day to day running of the BSA is managed by a small, but dedicated team of staff based at our Durham Office.
