The BSA Realism and Social Research Study Group is in need of new leadership.
We request that interested parties, including Early Career Scholars and PhD students, should send an expression of interest as soon as possible to Tom Brock.
The group acts as the link between the BSA and those interested in realist social research in the UK and abroad. In the past, it has run seminars on the theory and practice of (critical) realist theory and organised plenary sessions and guest speakers for the BSA Annual Conference.
New leadership would be tasked with breathing new life into the study group, particularly through the organisation of more regular meetings and a newsletter.
This is a great opportunity for those who are interested in working more closely with the BSA and making new contacts with social researchers with an interest in (critical) realist theory.
