Would you be interested three months’ free membership to the national subject association for sociologists? If so, join us for 2019!
As a BSA member you can take advantage of a wide range of membership benefits. Our busy calendar of events, leading academic journals and specialist study groups are all tailored to meet the varying needs of our members, giving you the tools and confidence to pursue your career and achieve your goals.
The annual membership period runs from January to December each year, however this deal also includes the final three months of 2018 for free!
Our benefits include offering you access to a wide range of financial support and free conference places if you are either a concessionary member, Postgraduate student or Early Careers Researcher. This includes grants of up to £1000 to attend and present at a conference of your choosing. As well as these benefits, we also have various awards that are given to UK-based early career researchers for first sole-authored monographs within the discipline of sociology. All of the opportunities we offer, including those for financial support are here.
Networking is one of the main benefits that we offer our members. This is not only via the events that we hold across the UK on a regular basis, which also cover a wide variety of topics, but also via our study groups and special interest groups, of which we have over 50 including race & ethnicity, medical sociology and religion.
