The BSA was greatly saddened to hear of the passing of Professor Michael Banton on the evening of 21 May 2018.  We mourn his loss and offer condolences to his family, friends and colleagues.

For those who wish to offer their condolences in person, the funeral service will be on 5 June, 12:30-13:00 at West Norwood cemetery and followed by a reception at the Tulse Hill Hotel.  Travel from Tulse Hill Hotel may be offered.  The overground train station West Norwood is also accessible from central London stations.

The arrangements are being made by Professor Banton’s daughter, Dagmar.  She has asked those planning to attend to let her know and she may be contacted by email.
