Sociology publishes a new special issue: Global Futures and Epistemologies of the South

Sociology is pleased to publish a new special issue on the topic of Global Futures and Epistemologies of the South. Edited by Gurminder K Bhambra and Boaventura de Sousa Santos, the issue takes stock of the progress that has been made within sociology to become a more globally oriented discipline and discusses the new challenges for the future that emerge as a consequence. Bringing together a wealth of original papers from international authors and taking a diverse range of approaches, the articles engage variously with the 'global futures' of sociology. The table of contents for the issue is available on the Sociology website.

The introduction to the issue is available online now and the articles will be available from 1 February. Look out for an accompanying podcast to the issue soon.
