Yorkshire Medical Sociology Study Group

Our initial goals are to meet three times a year. We will hold an inaugural meeting over half a day, during this meeting we will seek to establish the kind of interest there is and explore ideas about the format and frequency of future meetings.

The group will seek to engage in a range of activities with high profile speakers including the presentation of work in progress, topical discussions, debates and workshops. We will also enable the setting up of informal meetings and seek to provide space for increased networking between institutions. All of this will be discussed at the inaugural meeting.
