About the Event
In this event, Professors Itzigsohn and Brown will be in conversation about their recent book, 'The Sociology of W. E. B. Du Bois Racialized Modernity and the Global Color Line’. This conversation will tease out the global roots of Du Boisian sociology, and consider what it means to view Du Bois as an early pioneer of postcolonial sociology.
