Speakers include two of the Foundation for the Sociology of Health and Illness book prize nominees:
- Amy Chandler, University of Edinburgh will be speaking about her book, "Self-Injury, Medicine and Society: Authentic Bodies" London: Palgrave Macmillan.
- Gareth Thomas, University of Cardiff will be speaking about his book, "Down’s Syndrome Screening and Reproductive Politics." London: Routledge.
